My students are energetic, curious, and eager kindergarteners. They attend a public school that has a high poverty rate in northeast Philadelphia. Because I always make sure that my students have what they need to succeed, I supply my students with most of the materials necessary to thrive. My second graders get so excited about all learning, especially when it's hands-on. However, some come from difficult backgrounds so they believe they can't achieve success. I want to teach them to have a growth mindset where it's okay to make mistakes because that is how they will learn.
