Students will have access to individual packs of p.e. equipment that can be used as a grab a go model for outdoor learning, take home lessons or in classroom movement. Physical education can happen anywhere & this project can support that goal! With limited access to shared equipment, these materials have been chosen because of the variety of skills and cross curricular activities that can be done with them. Pool noddles are cut into slices for balance activities and even into "poppers" to work pinching strength for beginning writing grip! Tennis balls and bean bags can be used for toss, catch, accuracy and many hand eye coordination challenges. Dice can be used for cross-curricular math activities paired with fitness. All useful tools!
