The Special Education students at our school present with a variety of needs. Specifically we have many students on the Autism spectrum and with ADHD. We have a Center Based program for our entire school district. This program is for students who were not successful in their home school. We have a classroom for students Kindergarten through 5th Grade with learning disabilities, serious emotional issues such as anxiety or depression, very specific sensory issues, or other mental health concerns. Our students have specific emotional and behavioral needs for sensory breaks, individualized behavior support plans, and environmental modifications to help them receive the maximum benefit from our instruction. Learning is often very difficult for our students and they need special modifications throughout their school day.
