Located in Idaho, our School District serves a diverse population of K-12th grade students from varied social-economic backgrounds. Our school population reflects this diverse nature. Our classrooms aim to prepare our students with college- and career-ready skills enabling them to lead in a globally connected economy and society. The students in my classroom enjoy sharing and working in collaboration with each other. The projects the students create provide frequent opportunities for students to share, through pair-share, small groups, and collaborative projects. In these activities it becomes evident the student learning is taking place as they engage in conversations on the topics we are studying in class. The students help each other with technology issues which help them to remember how to work with the software and hardware items that are in our classroom presently.
