My students can be a tough bunch, but when inspired, they really work hard and many of them want to improve and be the best student they can be. I want to get them on level by year's end. My students are beginning to love books so much, they fight over certain books. For example, we just finished, "Tales of a 4th Grade Nothing." They were sad about it, but when I said we were starting a new book, "Third Grade Angels" they clapped and cheered. (Yes I teach 3rd grade, but they love chapter books) They just need someone to believe in them and to give them a rigorous and extensive educational experience. I want to be that catalyst that propels them into a bright future.
