We already have a plan and know how we will use the Coleman Beach Canopies. We just need your help to fund our project and bring some shade to our playground. The children will be excited about going outside, as the canopies will provide shade for our students on the playground. The canopies will help our students feel more comfortable while they play on the playground for an hour each day on sunny and warm days. Also, they will allow children to be happier and enjoy being outside. The children will be able to read, relax, playing with toys, do gross motor exercise, and experience a cooler outside environment. The Coleman Beach Canopies will be a wonderful asset to our playground and will help the children love being outside more! Our school is nestled in the Foothills of Western North Carolina in a small rural community. Many of our families struggle to find employment and the employment wages are low in our area. Every child in our class has a love and an eagerness to learn! We understand that every child learns in different ways, so we incorporate a variety of learning strategies through large group, small group, individual work, center time, play, alternative seating, and student’s choice to ensure that every student's social-emotional and learning needs are met. Our class this year is such a wonderful and exceptional group! We feel so thankful and blessed to have these students in our class this new school year! We love Teaching!
