I have a group of 21 fifth grade students who are smart, energetic, and eager to learn every single day! These students always have a smile on their face and show their leadership everyday in our classroom and in our school. Sadly, however, because of funding, our school does not have a lot of up to date technology that our students can utilize. They do, however, make the most out of what we have everyday and still work as hard as they can to succeed. Our school has almost 90% of students receiving free and reduced lunch. Like mentioned before, our school system has also been faced with major budget cuts, leaving us with a limited amount of money to purchase any supplies, especially supplies for individual classrooms. These kids are well deserving of the best so that they can work to succeed, not only in school but in their life as well.
