My 8th grade homeroom/humanities students are smart, funny, caring, and hardworking young adults. Like many other schools in California, we struggle with adequate funding and equitable access to supplies and equipment. I would like them to have the same opportunities to express themselves and "save the world from itself" that I had way back when I was in school.
