Kindergarten is a child's first chance to fall in love with school. It is my challenge everyday to make sure my 18 five year olds are excited to be there. My students are driven by goals and tracking their progress in school. We celebrate as we are able to read harder books, grow from only knowing 8 letter sounds to 20, and when we reach the "counting to 100 club." I have such a diverse group of students who are learning to work together and be leaders in our class and in their community.
