The Kindle Fire 7 will be such a great asset to students who do not financially have the means to come to school with their own smart phones or ipads. They will feel a part of the class in also being able to use the same type technology as their peers while allowing them to listen to the novel while following the written word. It will draw them into the story if they can listen to the narrator as they follow along without struggling over pronouncing more difficult words. Encouraging readers through technology will go a long way in drawing a student into enjoying the whole reading process now and in their future. When a student has to struggle with words and has no idea of the meanings it hampers the comprehension process. By using the Kindle Fire 7, a student can easily discover the meaning of the word by placing their finger on said word. It is a teacher's hope that their students will enjoy the literary world and not only during class time but for leisure as well.
