Our new carpet will serve as a meeting space for our classroom community. We spend much of our day on the carpet taking part in activities such as our morning meeting, calendar routine, sharing stories, singing songs, using accountable talk, and using GoNoodle. We need an area that is conducive to our learning. The carpet that I have selected will provide letters and shapes for every student so they can continue to understand what it means to have and give personal space. It is important that students are both comfortable and without distractions on the carpet so that they can remain engaged in our lessons. Our current carpet is showing a lot of wear & tear from many years of use. My hope is that our new carpet will last for many years and will assist in the learning of many more students to come.
