Students in my classroom come from several different backgrounds, every level of education, and most are on reduced or free meals. Some students are being raised by grandparents, others by only one parent who they hardly see because they work two jobs just to support their family. I have students with limited English, some with special needs, and also others that are able to think way outside the box; so to say my classroom is diverse is an understatement.
