I teach at a very large school in Oklahoma where we focus on improving literacy daily. I teach three 5th grade Language Arts classes, where half my students read below grade level. Many come for families of poverty who have never been made to feel important because of where they come from. It is my goal, as their teacher, to make them feel special despite where they come from. I love my students and want to be able to give them everything they need to succeed. They are happy, outgoing, loving kids who should be treated equally.

About my class
