My students would greatly benefit from flexible seating that will allow them to move around while they work. I have an energetic group of 1st graders who love to wiggle and move! Considering that I don't enjoy sitting in a chair for multiple hours at a time, why should I expect them to do the same? By adding the balance ball chairs and wobble cushions, students can sit at their desk and work while being able to move around. The floor cushions and lap desks will allow students to work comfortably on the floor. The bands will go around the students chairs so they can get some of their energy out while working. Having these various seating options for them will increase their attention span and help them stay focused on their activities!
