These active, diverse learners would benefit greatly from the ability to move around the room more often, and choose from a variety of seating. By transforming our classroom from only desks and chairs, to tables with yoga balls, wobble stools, floor desks, and more we will be able to "wiggle while we work." Young first graders need this to help them focus, and work their best! This can greatly improve their ability to complete work independently at their seating preference, giving them more self-control over their learning. It also allows for more flexible group options and working collaboratively with a variety of their peers. We love team work and have a lot of energy!

About my class
