Kindergarten is an exciting and fun time to learn. Exploration is a natural thing for kids. My students could really benefit from a light table and supplies. This light table and the supplies will provide a new interest to activities while also providing them with a hands-on approach to learning. We would use this during literacy stations to help learn letters and sounds, sight words, and how to build words. We would also use it during math when working with shapes. In science, I plan to put items on the light table for them to work on observing and exploring.
