Many of my students come to me lacking basic social studies knowledge due to limited time for social studies classes in elementary school. My students come from a varied background few have had the opportunity to travel outside the U.S., let alone too far from Missouri. Additional technology in the classroom will help level the playing field and give all students the opportunity to use it as a learning tool.
