My students are first graders in special education. Teaching at a title one school in Metro Atlanta, my students do not have access to technology that is readily available in non-titled schools. Using technology in my class will help my students learn the same concepts of their non-disabled peers, but in a different way. My special needs children are faced with barriers that impair their ability to process information. There are several great apps that provide auditory, tactile, and visual feedback and now we just need an Ipad!
