Use of graphic novel in conjunction with lessons already established. The graphic novel will be used to enhance the learning of the students. Various lessons will be covered. These include, geography, weather, ship construction and engineering, history of the war in the Pacific, vocabulary, and an overall appreciation of Naval warfare and history. The use of this graphic novel will enhance and encourage the students to read more for understanding, context, and evaluation. Our students need additional help and encouragement when it comes to reading. Please see it in your hearts to help me.
