I have a special needs preschool classroom. We have a variety of needs; a couple are on the autism spectrum, some have different syndromes, some can't walk, some receive occupational therapy, physical therapy and/or speech therapy. and some have emotional or behavior difficulties. Our program is an intervention program designed to boost preschoolers skills and abilities before going into kindergarten. We provide services for two school corporations, offer both a morning and an afternoon class, and serve about twenty five 3-5 year old students a year. We are located in a low-income public elementary school in Southeastern Indiana.
