My students are warm, loving children who come to school with a huge smile on their face daily. They are eager to learn, and love their peers and teachers. My students have a wide range of disabilities, which makes it difficult for them to participate in the classroom like their peers. My students are in kindergarten and a lot of the learning is done on the rug! My students have a difficult time keeping their bodies in control and respecting personal space. Also, physical disabilities hinder their ability to sit up by themselves. They attend a school with a diverse population, however the moment they walk through the school doors, they belong to the same, nurturing, loving school community.
