Despite the many challenges our students face, they are a happy, resilient, and hard-working group. They have a strong sense of pride and respect for their family, school, and community. They are great about helping each other and sharing ideas and materials. Their strong work ethic and motivation have enabled them to make significant gains in oral language acquisition and reading despite the fact that our classroom materials are not sufficient to meet the needs of our school's increasing English language learners.

About my class
