My young middle school students have endured in life what most adults have yet to experience but they still have the courage to continue on. Battling poverty, drugs, gang violence, death of parents, foster care, and pregnancy in NYC, our school strives to provide these students with hope and inspire them to succeed. These young brilliant minds have become shackled to the ideologies of poverty and teachers at our school have dedicated our lives to liberate them so they can be free.
