Learning a foreign language is a challenging task no matter where we are. Not to mention as young as the 1st graders in a Dual Language immersion classroom. Therefore, it is pivotal for me to provide them with the needed tools at school for them to practice so that there will not be a learning gap. With the Chromebook computers, my students will be able to access platforms that provide Chinese e-book reading and practice conversing with a partner/peer in the target language. All these will help my students to retain what they learn in the classroom. With the needed technologies, I can conduct small group activities to meet the students' needs.
