My class is a very energetic bunch. They keep me on my toes! Second graders are like sponges; they are just waiting to soak up any knowledge they can. I believe in enhancing that quest for knowledge by providing different methods for learning. I would like to find a way to make reading fun, so they can embrace a passion for reading that will inspire them throughout their lives. My students have many different learning styles, the iPad will help "individualize" learning for all children. Technology is a huge magnet and naturally draws children to it. By using teacher programs, I will be able to set individual goals and track each person's progress in all common core areas. I have very supportive parents who would appreciate the added incentive to help their child realize their full potential.
