Our students are chomping at the bit to learn and discover here at Sprentz. Reading takes them away from some of their difficult life situations and into worlds of enchantment and wonder. I have 34 incredible crumb-gobblers who just enjoy opening a good book and letting their imaginations run wild. Roald Dahl's beautiful ability to create word pictures in scrumptious detail is not only fun to read, but helps my students with their own creative writing. They are transported from the limited to the unlimited, from bland to colorful.
