My students are incredible young learners in grades K–2 who are on the autism spectrum. They are diverse, multilingual, and many use limited spoken language—but they each bring amazing strengths, curiosity, and creativity to our classroom every day. They communicate and learn in unique ways, and they thrive in a hands-on, sensory-rich environment where they can explore, move, and express themselves freely. My goal is to create a classroom that supports the way my students learn best—through touch, movement, and real-world exploration. This project will bring in hands-on science materials and sensory tools that make learning more accessible and engaging for every child.

About my class
