Every writer should be able to print and look at hard copies of their work. While the world is increasingly digital, there is no substitute for being able to print out and mark up notes for revision and editing on a physical copy of writing. My students are largely English language learners, and they will benefit from the ability to look at and share a physical copy of their writing as they go through the drafting, revising, and editing process. Your support can directly impact their writing skills! With printing technology, students will learn how to use editing notation, as well as how to peer review each other's work. The process of revision and editing is crucial to advanced writing skills, and this is especially true for English language learners.
