My students attend a Title I school in Indiana. Our school provides ninety-nine percent free and reduced lunches and text book rental. Most of our students live in government subsidized housing. Despite these disadvantages, each of our students believe he, or she, is college bound. Our school is part of the No Excuses University program with a pro-college focus. My students are striving to be fluent in two or more languages. They are hard working dedicated students that take school seriously. Small group instruction is the best way for students to conquer fluency in another language. We do many activities to improve all facets of English including speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
