I've spent a good amount of time over the last few months researching the benefits of flexible seating in the classroom. In an attempt to keep my students engaged and comfortable, this simple modification of the traditional classroom setting can make a world of difference to the learning environment. Studies have shown that students are more attentive and responsive by simply changing the configuration of traditional desks and chairs. By adding in wobble chairs of various heights and balancing yoga ball chairs, students will be able to move at will and exert excess energy so that they can focus academically.
