My students learn best with concrete examples to support mathematical ideas. These supplies will make my class more interactive and give the students an opportunity to explore different strategies in math. Most of my students are visual learners. Comprehending fractions, integers, place value, and 3-D shapes will be easier for my students if they have materials to handle. Help my students have access to more manipulatives to reach a higher student achievement. Using these manipulatives will help the students understand and learn the basic foundations of math and continue to build on skills. My classroom is in need of more hands-on materials for each student to independently solve problems and feel more successful.
