I work with struggling students as well as those identified as having Special Needs. The school is in an urban city with mostly low-income families. The students are in grades Kindergarten through Second grade. They are students who just need a little more practice and support to master the skills they need to be successful students. I work not only in the general education classroom setting, but I also pull students out for explicit teaching. The students are caring, and respectful towards the staff and their peers and crave the learning experience.
