Our diverse classroom is located in a k-5 elementary school, recently recognized for our success in student achievement. Our teachers aim to build caring relationships with each student in order to help them reach their potential. We are 50% English language learners (the majority speak Spanish,) and most of my students receive free and reduced meals. I loop with my students from 4th to 5th grade. My students are hard working, curious, creative, and they consider themselves a family of learners.
