Many of the children I work with have autism and have a difficult time connecting to the world. Other children I work with have physical disabilities and are limited in their ability to access the curriculum without support of technology due to their physical status. All of my students attend a public school and the majority of them are in a special education classroom for children with moderate to severe special needs. With the use of the IPAD my students would benefit academically, socially and gain more independence in the classroom.
