This school is located in a low economic area. For many of these students the art that they experience at school will be their only opportunity to have experiences with art. This project is important for the students to be able to access the California Visual Arts Standards. The students will gain knowledge that they would not be able to obtain on their own without the instruction and practice in the classroom. The students will be able to build confidence and gain a worldly knowledge base that will help them when they attend college and life beyond their educational careers. These students might even be the future creators for the Walt Disney Company.

About my class
