This middle school is a Title I school because more than fifty percent of the area is considered below the poverty level. Many of the students are at-risk of dropping out or getting into trouble throughout the school year and need counseling and social skills to develop a better attitude toward education. It is important to keep these young men in the classroom and encourage them to pass the state test and advance to the next grade level.

About my class
