The majority of our students come from low socio-economic backgrounds. I have a number of students who come from broken homes, where moms or dads are not around after school to help with homework or reading. For these students, school is everything. It is a place of warmth, love, and hope. A place where they can find support and help in all aspects of their lives. Our school is filled with teachers who hold high expectations for our students, and see the potential in each and every one of them. Students feel loved, respected, and know that their teachers see how important and special they are.

About my class
