Our Pre-K classroom is full of 18 busy children who are eager to learn and be a part of exciting learning activities throughout the day, especially during our large group times. Our classroom is a part of a program assisting low-income families. The majority of the students are English Language Learners and some even receive extra support due to severe behavioral issues. There are a variety of cultural backgrounds represented in our classroom including Arabic, Spanish, Ethiopian, Vietnamese, and Nepal. The diversity in our classroom gives a wonderful opportunity to learn about each other, and the children deserve to have a gathering area in the room to come together as not only classmates, but as friends.

About my class
