My students are wonderful second graders. Our school is located in a high poverty immigrant community in California. The parents of most of my students have never finished high school and my students will hopefully be the first ones in their families to go to college. My classroom consists primarily of students who are learning English as a second language. I also mainstream deaf and hard of hearing students and learning disabled students in my all inclusive classroom.
