I have 18 young, hard-working, eager students in my classroom. My students come from a high-poverty community where there are not often educational opportunities or support for education outside of school. School is often one of the only stable places where our students can go day after day to feel safe and where they can be themselves. Our school is a community where the teachers and support staff work hard to create an environment where the students feel loved, supported, cared about, and most of all, a place that they feel their voices are heard and they are wanted.

About my class

I have 18 young, hard-working, eager students in my classroom.
