My students love working together and doing things for others. They are highly motivated to make this club a success. In fact, they have been scrounging their own supplies each time we meet. It would be a dream to be able to give them a boost and get our kitchens stocked so that we can really focus our efforts on learning the art/science of baking and planning effectively to ensure the longevity of the club. The items requested would allow my students to focus their energy on learning to bake, market products, and create an organization which is self-sustained all while supporting others. Currently, we have been toting in supplies each weeks from our homes to ensure we can be effective during meeting times. Having a supply of pots, pans, utensils, mixers, towels, wash cloths and other essentials will ease the demands placed on each individual so that more of my students' time can be devoted to learning the trade. Each time we bake, we will set aside a small portion of the profits to fund our next project and to keep our club going. ALL remaining profits will go to charities of the students' choosing! We are so excited to make a difference while doing something we love!
