My students spent six weeks reading, studying, and analyzing Othello. For many it was their first time reading Shakespeare. My students showed up every day prepared to read aloud -which is not always easy with Shakespearean English! and are currently working on a variety of assessments. Some chose to rewrite the ending and others chose to act out a pivotal scene and write about it. I would love for thirty of my students to have the experience of seeing Shakespeare performed live by professional theater company! It would be a great opportunity for them to see Shakespeare's words acted out by professionals. Thank you so much for any support you can give!
