My class is a group of 5-6 grade special needs students in a high poverty area. Their learning styles and abilities run the spectrum of needs. They are eager to learn and want to engage but they need extra time and resources to aid in their learning process. Reading about science and technology always sparks their interest and they start asking so many questions to help them understanding the topics. Due to their special needs many times explaining things doesn't always pull everything together for them. Therefore, we always work to integrate hands-on experiments and demonstrations to aid in their understanding and retention of the concepts covered.

About my class
