My students are from a very low economic area, who struggle to learn basic skills. My students have been through a difficult time after Hurricane Sandy, many lost everything they own and were displaced from their homes. They are in need of a stable, loving, fun and educational school day. This will help them learn and take their mind off of what they will return to after school.
