I teach a diverse group of five and six year olds in a neighborhood K-8 school. Since we are considered a neighborhood school, we do not have special programs like many other schools in our county. Therefore, funding for technology is limited. Our school relies heavily on fundraising efforts by our PTA. Our PTA does a fabulous job raising money but the funds are usually stretched to the limit. Often times, the upper grades are considered to be more critical, and they receive funding first.

About my class
