This classroom is an autism classroom with 5 students from kindergarten up to 5th grade. Most of the students are non verbal and use sign language or iPads for communication of their everyday wants and needs. They are a super bunch of kids that love school and love to read, do math, science, and more! Kids with autism have a lot of sensory needs and seek stimulation to help calm and relax throughout the day. Right now they are using normal exercise balls to do this. These are very unsafe as they roll and some kids have gotten hurt from slipping off a ball. These chairs would be a saving grace for this small group of very deserving kids.
