There are 11 moderate to severely disabled students in our classroom this year. They are all ready and interested in learning new skills. Practice and repetition of skills is something that is worked on daily so students can fully grasp a new skill. Our school is located in a low income area and many of the students do not have access to all that is needed to help them reach their full potential. The cost of making copies has increased which has limited the amount of worksheets that can be provided to my students. Having letters and numbers showing them the correct formation that they can actually write on will help them become more independent as they move along in their education.
