My students will be bringing life back to the school garden. Although still used, our garden needs some updating and care. In class, students will be applying both math and science to grow the plants and vegetables that they have determined will provide the most healthy (both mentally and physically) addition to our school. Students, at home or in the school, will be able to conduct research on what plants would be most beneficial for urban dwellers. Students will study growth rates and compare soil composition to determine what the plants need and what and how much nutrients need to be added.
