I am a regular education teacher but have six students in my classroom room who receive special education services. Of these six students, three of them work with an occupational therapist on fine motor skills. When asked to write a story, project, or simple answer these students cringe at the thought. They all have something to share, but writing is extremely difficult for them. My wonderful students are sweet, loving, and hardworking, but do not always receive the materials they need. The school they attend is considered a bubble school in Nevada. We do not receive federal money, but we also do not have the parental support to help provide the school with the materials needed.
