My classroom includes a combination of students who require a full day of Specialized Academic Instruction as well as those who come to my class for only one or two subjects each day. While each of these students is working diligently to move closer to grade level competencies, they typically are performing well below peers and are challenged with larger group instruction. Consequently, my team works in one-on-one or small group instruction models. Each of my students is a unique learner and uses their strengths to access the core curriculum (eg., auditory, visual, kinesthetic learners). Our goal is to maximize learning through the use of a variety of tools including technology.
